So today I turn 46 and while eating a muffin this morning my tooth breaks in half. Getting old sucks. That is all.

Happy B-DAY!!! not to rattle you, I'm going on 57 in January, I am going into this life changing era kicking and screaming. Mom's 87 and can't remember anything from yesterday. If this is what I have to look forward to, then I'm checking out long before I'm 87! (Probably as soon as I get done spending the inheritance, LOL!)

Sausage McMuffin

I hate to break it to you, but that wasn't "sausage".

At first I was thinking, "That's one helluva bran fiber muffin."

Fortunately my teeth are holding up better than my joints. Sucking it up and playing sports when you're already injured comes back to haunt you as you age.

OK, as everyone probably knows I am most likely the oldest of the "Old Farts" on this site, turning 77 in December.. A lot of people claim that once you pass 65, the years are said to be the "golden years". BULL SHIT - don't believe it!! Enjoy those 40's and 50's and save, save, save your money as retirement checks may get to be very insecure in the not too distant future.

No you don't, it has not been a yellow brick walk by any means. There are some unprintable events i've been witness to, over the years, Many.

I'm sort of looking forward to not remembering yesterday, or a couple of hours ago, or my own name. The only thing that will be bad about it is I won't remember how good it is not remembering what I wanted to forget.

My 46 is in a couple weeks, and I started the downhill slide at 34 with a stroke... brain surgery at 44, tooth aint nutn. Hope you can get it fixed up and working again.
