    Default Getting started in Reloading

Unfortunately, I have no real experience in the reloading department. I am looking for a good starting place to get an understanding of the basics of reloading (books, web resource etc). Beyond that are there any classes that anyone knows about in the area that could be recommended for some hands on no nonsense reloading instruction. I primarily shoot 5.56x45mm and .308 and would love to be able to reload my good brass.

I'm a 30 day probie as well but have been reloading for 40 years and live in the South Pinery 4 miles South of Parker. Not to far from Highlands Ranch. I'd be happy to get together with you and answer questions and hopefully get you going. You may or may not know we are getting a new Cabela's just off of I-25 at first exit south of Lincoln. I think it opens next summer.

Hey Colorado Black gun. I just found your thread. I just joined and have been messing around with ARs, but I have been loading for 50 years (since I was 11) and live in the North Pinery. I have been shooting benchrest for the last 19 years but having fun with the black gun recently. I do most all of my own smithing and have a lathe and a mill. Maybe we could meet for a cup of coffee sometime?
