    Default Where to store magazines?

So, I don't have room in the safe for all of my pre-Colorado ban magazines. In the past I just kept them in the closet. I figured if anything happened to them I would just buy more. Needless to say, I can't legally buy more of them now.

So, other than investing in another safe just for magazines, what would my best option be?

I currently have them stashed away in a hidden spot under lock and key.

    Maybe that is good enough.

    Thoughts?

30 rd. AR magazines? I'd have to go look, but I'm pretty sure I have 10 or 12 of them in a .50 cal. ammo can. Don't have it locked away, but it's a handy container.

Mostly trying to secure all of my magazines over 15 rounds to prevent them from being taken should my home be broken into.

Some of the members here would need an extra large safe just for the magazines........ This is a good topic since the standard Capasity Pre-ban magazines are now priceless in the underground market in our fine state.

Those are the people I am hoping chime in. Buying a new safe just to secure a bunch of magazines seems a bit silly. Maybe putting a dead bolt on a closet door is good enough? Or locking them up in a cabinet in the garage or something?

Do you have any clearance to make a magazine rack on the safe door?

Get a stack on metal gun closet. Mount it to the wall in your closet and then put clothing in front of it or something to that order.

Just put them in your attic or closet in a box marked "Christmas Decorations" No one will even bother with looking in it.

I use to store ammo and mags separate. Now I load all my mags with ammo and store them in fat 50 cans. I can fit 28 pmags in each can.

Some people I know store them in plastic bins in their kitchen.
