I found this old picture when they first started jacking up the price. Now its $15 a box. Not to long ago the same crappy Russian ammo was $4 a box in stores around town and cheaper online. They said that metal prices were driving the price up. But that was about as believable as the gas prices being so high, because 10 billion dollars profit wasn't a big deal.

I was buying it for $75-100 per 1000 rds before Katrina and then it shot way up. I haven't bought in bulk since then. At $15 its not even worth it to buy wolf ammo. Might as well get some Winchester ammo.
And I can see that that ad is out of date now but it was the price for cheaper than crack.

They get harrassed daily on their industry forum on ar15.com.
You will likely have no problem getting the items you ordered, but if you bought ammo, mags, guns, gun accessories you likely paid way too much.
