Hmm ... Reagan's military advisers moved the services to adopt a common BDU to save money. Clinton's CSAF dumped decades of tradition to adopt a European-style service dress and CSA took the black beret from the Rangers to push it Army-wide (and was in such a rush to implement it before he retired that he contracted with the Chicoms in order to get enough in the field that it couldn't be easily undone). Obama's Joint Chiefs ... well, I'm damned glad I'm not serving anymore. I don't know whether to blame this travesty on Obama or Amos but either way it's right up there with McPeak's and Shinseki's follies.

For so many vets in here, so few of you seem to realize that the President doesn't decide what uniforms the servicemen and women get. It's the colonels and generals that make these decisions.

And at no point is it acceptable to wish death upon someone, let alone the President of the US.

Yes. But not just active duty Marines. He wants Conservatives to initiate violence that way history gives him the moral authority to respond in kind.

He will continue to agitate until he gets what he wants or can fabricate the response he's not getting.

Between this, Amos, and women in combat MOS, I'm glad my time came to an end long ago.
