I have found that voting is a lot easier now that bloomberg is constantly in the mix. I just find out what side he is funding and vote the opposite. Hell, I don't even have to read the stuff legislation anymore. Thanks Bloomberg!!! I now have more time to dedicate to go shooting.

The pro pot folks think this tax is too high and the antis want more. Sure, it's more than the normal sales tax but I'm pretty sure it's far less than tobacco and booze. I personally think it should be on par with those two products.

Regarding 66, I'm starting to see a lot more "no" signs around town. That's great but maybe too late.

When you actually read the ballot and see that # in the first line of what 66 is, it really makes me scared that someone could vote to increase taxes by $950,100,000.00. I would venture a guess that most people that would vote yes on this can't even say that number without pausing for a few seconds and thinking about what it actually is.

I think I will soap up the back of my jeep like all the liberal soccer moms are doing down here in DougCo... "NO 66"

The Douglas County School Board is also a huge issue this time. Bloomberg and other liberal money is coming in to help their candidates. One of the Bama advisers is here running this drive. Those in Douglas should be very careful who they select.

He's also dumping millions into the VA race for Gov and AG. This rat bastard is out there buying elections with his bottomless pit of personal cash reserves and will be a bigger force to deal with when he is no longer mayor of NYC. The sad thing is that if he feels so bad for being that wealthy then he could use his millions helping his target audience instead of meddling in the local politics of other states.

Bloomberg and the other progressives just trying to influence those races in purple states. I don't see money being sent from our side then they wonder "What's happening in Colorado or Virginia"?

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Colorado gut TABOR "For the Children" with ref C and D to allow surplus funds spent on education instead of returning those dollars to.the tax payers?

This state could be so flush with revenue if the libtards would get it of the way of the oil and gas industry, hell even the coal industry if the EPA doesn't kill it off completely.

    66, go f yourself.

even my parents who are retired teachers voted no on this.

I had to convince my wife (teacher) though. She got a major load of BS from the union about it. Just like has been mentioned before, there isn't enough responsibility, they have a shit load of reserves as is, whole state taxing is not good when the money is not distributed well. Her district really could use more money and they really do work on a pretty good budget and do well at it. Class sizes are much too high though and if they could get money for a couple more teachers at her school the kids really would benefit from it. this tax doesn't give all the money to schools. and some districts don't need the money.

The third asshat in three days just stopped by the house asking for support for 66. It's kinda fun seeing their expression when I tell them that the wife and I voted against it.

That's awesome. I asked her if she could explain to me what 66 is, she said all the money goes to the kids so they could have music and smaller classes. I excitedly asked her if she voted for Obama. She said yes. Then I told her to get the hell off my property.
