Taking guns to WY
Are there any laws that prevent a person from taking an AR up to WY, doing a bit of shooting during a vacation, and returning with everything they took up there (including standard capacity mags that I took up from CO)?
Not at all, i bring a suppressor or two when i travel north. If you CCW don't forget your permit.

Right you are. Wyoming is a constitutional carry state, but that only applies to Wyoming residents. We do have CCW reciprocity with Wyoming though. I have friends up there, and I always carry when I go visit.Originally Posted by jim

I wasn't aware constitutional carry was only for Wyoming residents, good to know.
Kind of ridiculous to restrict it to residents only, but I suppose they are light years ahead (or would behind be the better term) of the majority of the country, when it comes to 2a.
Nope, no prohibitions on importing mags you owned before July. Have fun.
