Hello Everyone, need some help in Colo Springs

Hi,

New member here, I would like to ask if there is anyone here in the springs
or woodland park area that has a vice & upper reciever vice block, that could help me change the barrel nut on my ar15.. its a new rifle, but the
free float tube was threaded on crooked and i made remington send me a new one..
( i actually had to threaten them with a lawsuit for breach of warranty
to get a replacement part out of them...gezzzzzzzzz ) so anyway it did
come and i managed to get the bad one off...but the tube nutt is torqued
onto the reciever an it will take a reciever vice block and vice.. which i dont have..
do have the barrel nut wrench though.... any offer to assist would be wonderfull... sucks having a new gun and having to fix it cause the maker
is a jerk... thanks! jc

Looks like tommrow will get this stuck barrel nut off and new one back on..great people here..sage

a really great forum member dropped by yesterday, helped me out with
the stuck barrel nut.. and got my rifle back in service... just wanted to
thank joe for being such a great help, enjoyed meeting you and appreciated all your knowledge and assistence. thanks very much !
