Nice fish - looks like a beautiful day too. Makes me anxious for ice season - got to fire up the auger this weekend and make sure its ready to go.

-similar, but much of the body is tied back near the bend of the hook in three different places, with just a little tied 'normally' that makes it look like a clouser when finished (all that material is tied back near the bend to prevent it fouling the hook on the back-cast). It's not evident in the photo but the material is entirely flash.

Did you catch any with that?

I started with darker streamers but the flashy fly pictured is the only fly that either of us caught fish on the entire time. Sadly, I only tied up a handful of those before leaving on the trip.
