I just got on the wait list for the book at Jefferson County Public Library for the kindle version.
Online library check out it awesome! I would get a card if you get a chance.
Awesome flick. I saw a lot of people sitting in seats at end, many a tear, and at least 3 guys with hats down covering the fact they were upset.
Powerful movie, a fair amount of artistic liberty but overall the story made it point. And it was cool seeng Marcus in several scenes.
Progressive ideology, ideas so good they must be mandatory.

A list of the differences between the book and the movie. And reality and the book.

My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."
'Lone Survivor': Box-office mission accomplished with stunning $38M
"Lone Survivor," a gritty tale of courage and honor among American fighting men, broke out with a stunning $38.5 million triumph at the U.S. box office this weekend.
The Afghan war drama starring Mark Wahlberg and Emile Hirsch more than doubled distributor Universal Pictures' pre-release projections. The studio and most analysts had expected the searing and violent tale of a Navy SEAL mission gone awry to land in the high-teen millions over the three days. Instead, it posted the best opening ever on this weekend, and the second-highest January debut ever, behind only the $40 million opening of 2008's "Cloverfield."
It was a hit with critics coming in, but the patriotic themes of "Lone Survivor" clearly struck an unexpectedly powerful chord with moviegoers, who turned out in large numbers and gave the film a rare "A+" CinemaScore.
Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

I saw it Saturday at the matinee showing in the Orchard with 4 friends. We spent the morning shooting, ate wings and beer at BWW's on hwy 7, then saw the flick. It was a great manly day with good men.
We all loved the movie and had to fight back tears at the end. As much as I enjoyed the movie, the book was still way better.

First thing that came to mind during that scene was to leave their hands bound behind their backs. Descent would have been much slower without the ability to use arms. Of course hind sight is 20/20.
They made the right choice overall and shows the morality of American troops as a whole. The few bad apples we hear about are the exception, not the rule.

It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.
