Mine is cancelled too (HDHP). I prepaid my premium in September to try and save some $ and in "hope" that I can have a bit more time to figure out what is in the bill. Anyway, my HI carrier will keep that in place until the last day of September 2014.

Does not meet minimum coverage levels. 'Hit by a bus' level coverage is no longer available.

Was not his statement more like "If you like your coverage you can keep it." ? If so you must not like your coverage. Even if you say you do, you just don't know any better and really don't.

Company I work for was one of the first 150 to get a waiver. Our high deductible plan healthcare used to look unappealing, but it's looking better by the day.

Really sorry to hear this guys.

OP, take your preium and double it--that is what an ACA approved plan will cost you. I know because that is what I pay and I am close to not being able to justify it. My plan isn't changing, but I am one of the lucky ones who will continue to see premiums skyrocket.

If you are thinking about bending your knee and enrolling in Obamacare, I have mixed feelings. This is a manufactured crisis designed to get us all on Obamacare eventually. It's easy to say "screw 'em I won't do it" but it's much harder to risk a loved one's life and going without insurance.

This is where I say fighitng is easier, but the complancy/idiocy of the average Merican disagrees...

My company still offers the same plans for next year and I'm all done signing up. Saw a slight increase in premiums for the same coverage.
sorry to hear for all the troubles, I expect nothing less from the chief idiot.

I think, AND I COULD BE WRONG (so don't take my word for it), you have to pay the premiums up front and get the "subsidy" at tax return time.

Nah, the free money comes every month, it has to. I'd be interested to know the details on how (what happens if you don't pay for instance) but alot of people would be unable to pay and even more would be ready to tar & feather someone if the rebate came all at once.
