That's the new science. Start with desired conclusion, prepare hypothesis in alignment with said conclusion, then select data that agrees with the hypothesis. It's worked with Global Warming/Climate Change/Climate Distruption.

We used to teach the scientific method in school. I guess it isn't part of common core or whatever.
