Default Anyone using Accurate 2495 for heavy 223 loads?

I took a chance and picked up a 8lb jug of this powder and now ready to work up a load. I'll be shooting 75gr hpbt match bullets out of a Colt 6920 with a 1 in 7 twist barrel. Good powder or not so much?

It's Accurate's version of IMR or H4895. I don't see why it wouldn't do well in anything .223 or .308. Right down the middle in terms of burn rate.

On the Accurate web page they only have data for 65 gr bullets and up for the 223. If I can get the 75gr to go 2900 fps Accurate 2495

6920 has a 16" barrel, right? You won't get the 75 grain going 2,900. Sorry. They are using at least a 20" test barrel.

...and why are they loading beyond max oal?
