    Default Electrical outlets

My breaker panel is in the garage with open slots, newer house built in 1998. I want to basically run 2 outdoor outlets one on each side of the garage, and put them on a switch. They will be for Christmas/Halloween decorating. So just the basic lights, hopefully all LED by next year. What wire and breaker should I use?

The garage is finished but I want to pull some drywall to run some cable/phone wires then I will texture and paint the whole thing this summer so I might as well do it all at once.

15 or 20 amp. I would do 20 amp breaker myself. 12-2 romex with ground. Make sure you install GFCI receptacles with in use covers.

    Breaker depends on your panel.

Thanks that's what I thought just to be safe. I was told 15 amp with 14-2 romex, but who knows what I will run off it in the future.

Since it is in the garage definitely go with a 20 amp, you never know what you will want to run later.
