Okay, I watered down the chalk board paint (1oz of water to 1/2 quart) and used the foam roller as a brush. Goes on MUCH smoother. It's starting to look good now. Chalk boards should be done by tonight/tomorrow and the only thing left to do will be to put on the final paint on the pantry, that matches the rest of the room, and the trim around the door. So it probably won't get finished much more for a while since there are a lot of other things I need to do before painting the entire room. Thanks everyone for the help.
