Pretty good Idea though having it all done right away, I'll pass it on.

Save money on the wedding and go on a nice honeymoon. I can't remember most of my wedding but of course I owned a liquor store at the time and we had an open bar.

As far as something for a proposal I got nothing. I was going to do it on the gondola in Steamboat but it wasn't running that night so it was in the condo on the couch.

Dave, sounds like you made a good choice going outdoors. My cousins all got married here. 5k for some old building where they didn't even bother to brush away the cobwebs.

Have your friend take her to a nice place to eat. Let the restaurant know ahead of time that you want to put an engagement ring in a glass of wine. I was going to do this for my wife, but I don't like a lot of attention. You could also put the ring in a piece of cake, you just have to be careful she doesn't chip a tooth biting into the cake. Good luck.,

Yeah Stu, we did a lot of searching around. We were amazed at what some places wanted.

Well.. being together for a period of time he should know what is special to his significant other.. it's not about being creative it's about knowing what the other half would like/appreciate.

sent from a soup can and some string..
