I know many in real life, have had these conversations, and have read many pieces on race and identity. I once sat through an entire course on race and identity, taught by a Jew, who frequently pointed out that Jews weren't "white" while pointing out the injustice created by white America.

Many high profile Jews distance themselves from the label "white" and have made careers attacking what they call "white" culture (which has become a synonym for Conservative Americans which is not exclusively "white").

It certainly doesn't speak for all Jews, but these are the loudest voices on Jewish racial identity and race in America. If that needs to be corrected, maybe other Jews should speak up?

But what part of this is controversial for you? "White" Americans have been victims of the "knock out game" for five+ years without the MSM reporting a bit of it. It wasn't until Jews in NYC started becoming victims that the media was willing to give it some time. Now, even that's a national discussion, Holder's DoJ is ignoring black perps and focusing in on a "white" one. While I think that charge is warranted, I think it's painfully obvious equal protection is denied to American whites who have been victims the last five years.

Not all Jews are "white", any more than all Catholics are Italian, or all Muslims are Arabs. Judaism is a religion and a culture, not a genetic heritage. Looked at another way, it is quite possible to convert to Judaism and identify culturally AS a Jew, but no amount of "conversion" is going to allow me to become Black or Asian.

Third, you are describing a very small batch of Jews. I know Jews from Yemen, South Africa, Morrocco, Egypt, Europe, Ethiopia and of course the United States (and some other countries. JEW IS NOT A COLOR, ITS NOT A RACE. There are black Jews, yellow Jews, white Jews, etc.

You are I am assuming talking to white European Jews. The Jews that are attacked by racist blacks in New York are attacked because they dress as an Ultra Orthodox Jew would. They stand out as what Jews look like. They are targeted because they seem to be an easy target by athletic black youth. These Jews being targeted are life Torah scholars, who wouldnt have any idea how to fight someone or the desire to do it. Im sure you wouldnt have any idea who most Jews in America are by what they look like. BUT, the urban black youth know what these Jews look like and attack the for it. It is definitely racism.

I agree with you. The charges are justified. No doubt there at all. No one should be physically assaulted because of their racial identity or religious identity--this was the promise of "equal protection" and why I support it and am angry to see Obama & Co destroy it.

My point is just that the law is being selectively enforced and a lot of that has to do with racial identity. The politics and racism of the Obama Regime have dictated that "whites" do not get equal protection. I think that is obvious. If you have any doubts, just look at how the media reports it.

The NYC attacks have specifically listed the victims as "Jewish." Obviously, this was a criteria their attackers used, but it's also what makes it news. The many years of attacks on non-Jewish whites didn't make the news.

I think there is a massive divide between people who consider "Jewish" to be a religion and those who consider it a race. I'm not stepping into that, just pointing out that for many secular Jews, "Jewish" is indeed a racial identity--and they tend to be the ones defining the terms. You can disagree, and I would too, but in America, self-ascribed minorities get to dictate the rules.
