There are no pistol mags over 10 rounds for .22 because they are rimfire cartridges and get rimlocked inside the magazine, apparently.

Maybe thats whats been happening with my 25rnd ruger 10/22 mag.

Is that when the lip of the 2nd stops the 1st one from sliding forward and into the chamber?
Assault is a type of behavior, not a type of hardware.

I've only heard of it, but that sure sounds like what is happening to me.

On the .22 conversions, I never really saw the point. Buy an inexpensive 22 pistol (Wather P22, Ruger, etc) and keep the glock ready for action at all times. It's not like training with a G17 with zero recoil .22's is really going to help much anyway.

I've never seen the agrips locally. They sell for $25 + shipping on the brooks site, they have some links to other vendors getting down to about $20 plus shipping.

The point of a conversion kit is so you can practice with the same grip, weight, and trigger characteristics of your regular gun. Walthers, Rugers, Buckmarks, etc don't feel enough like a normal gun for some people.

I have NO experience with the AA kits, but I often hear good things about them, and never bad things. Well, I do hear that their customer service is down right terrible and it is better to get the stuff through a dealer than directly through them.

I know the intent, but IMHO it just doesn't work for me... Without the recoil, I might as well be shooting my Walther P22 as a G23 with a .22 kit on it, just for fun, not counting it as training. It is also pretty close enough in size/weight/sights, and hey, no muzzle flip! And again, keep the Glock always ready for use unless it is field stripped for cleaning.

Well there is another .22 conversion out there for cheaper than AA and it has 15rnd mags. I think it is Ceiner or something...
