In new construction areas it is very common for deliveries to get stolen. The workers see you leave, not get back home and see a package on your porch. They take it.
I do a lot of work in new development areas and hear about this crap every week. Easy pickins for the hundreds of "workers" that are driving by and walking by every day.
Sorry you had to be one of the people these scum steal from. One of my customers had their entire patio furniture set stolen last week. Expensive shit. And a patio heater.
