Up in longmont, my dad and his buddies helped with the hungry with all the damn geese that they kill....Then the soup kitchen got a new manager and didn't want the free meat, she wanted "store bought beef", needless to say, they overran their budget and started accepting ground goose again...

The Division itself donates a lot of confiscated carcasses. Helped a DWM recover one elk carcass last week that was destined for donation. Unfortunately, with the silliness of the loons and faked controversies about lead, few food banks will accept.
