There's hope, from others in this thread, that the recall can still be directed at her seat. However, this news will cause problems within the recall effort if more people falsely claim victory. If the recall doesn't have enough signatures by now, it will be extremely difficult to get the remainder. And that's even if they are no longer worthless, which is a possibility and another hurdle.
Of course it's good news. Not the best outcome and I agree it's not over but it is good news. Yes, continue the recall sig collection effort and, yes, it would have been better to bring it to a vote. But having Hudak out of the senate is a good thing no matter how you slice it. Remember...there was still a vote to be had and it is possible it may not have been in our favor. Hudak is now out (it appears) and she can't harm the state from her senate position any longer.
