I don't think we're likely to hear too many democrats utter the words "gun control" in the Colorado legislature before Nov of next year.

Hudak resigned so that the work of last year would not be undone, her words. You can bet it is the only thing on their lips.

they wasted a lot of money as well. She found out that her own don't even like her. maybe she will become a hoarding cat lady and never set foot outside until the day she ends up on the show "heavy", or they make a documentary about her "the ugly fat ass politician that quit"

I doubt cats would even piss on her.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that there was some outside money (Bloomberg?) that cut her a nice check to just resign. Sounds like she took the deal and now the dems can pick who they want to fill her seat.


The BIG NEWS though, is that some of you are indicating that the recall can count toward her seat and there can still be an election. If this is true, this is HUGE news. I doubt this though and am thinking it is just wishful thinking. Does anyone have confirmation if this is true or not? Would love to see the senate flip so we can get started next year on repealing all these laws from last year.

Its a good day for gun rights in America. Hopefully the lessons of Colorado will put enough fear into the anti gun people so they stop. Time will tell. But before they could fool themselves that 1994 was an anomaly. Well Colorado proved that wrong.

I read some...probably not all. On the other hand I rarely look to journalists or a news article when I have a legal question. Maybe you do.

I didn't see any news article mention she would be replaced by a committee. A committee will most likely choose her replacement, though.
