I think that it was Ann Coulter who made a comment recently about affirmative action allowing a mentally disabled woman to be the speaker of the House.

At any rate, it's time to for the federal government to make some money off of illegals. Declare a hunting season on them, sell license and quota hunts. It would generate a great deal of revenue and I'd love to have Jose, his wife Maria and their 8 kids on the wall next to some of my other trophies. Plus this would definitely cut down on the number of Mexicans that were willing to cross the border!

She said its UN-American to enforce the current Immigration Law. She also wants to protect the illegals' jobs supposedly.

<-- immigrant.. and I gotta say.. to be an immigrant used to mean so much more. It used to be you had to have special ability or skills to be in this country.. or at least the immigration law was written for that purpose. This country is #1 in the world because of its diversed people with many different background, and we used to be able to absorb the best and brightest from all over the world.

Nowdays it seems that the fed keeps on lowering the bar of immigration law and enforcement. For those of us who actually had to earn US citizenship, we feel cheated. Funny facts, more and more older 1st generation immigrants are going conservative because of this.

I have nothing against LEGAL immigration, but I'm sick and tired of pandering to the illegal immigrants. For those who don't think that it's costing taxpayers, think again.

Yesterday's Colorado Springs "The Gazette" newspaper had a story from the Chicago Tribune titled "Migrant Used Fake ID to Get Medical Care". I have been unable to find an online version of this story to link here, but the write-up was definitely biased. The premise of the story was how this poor ILLEGAL immigrant (illegal immigrant and "migrant" are NOT the same thing) contracted cervical cancer and STOLE a womans ID to obtain over $500,000 in Medicaid benefits. The woman is now back in Mexico, but we are supposed to feel bad for the fact that the pain she felt was so bad that she HAD to steal someones identity to get medical care.

Do I feel bad that she has/had cervical cancer? Yes. Do I think that her situation made it okay to steal someones identity and soak the taxpayers of the U.S. for her care? Hell no.

This has got to end. When will we, as a nation, finally stand up and say "I'm not giving any more to those who just want to come and take"? What do you suppose would happen to me if I was caught walking into a grocery store and shoplifting food? Do you suppose the authorities would say "It's okay because he was hungry and really needed it"? No, I can feel fairly certain that I'd be convicted as the criminal that my actions would make me.

I'm just fed up!
