    Default New 3-gun shooter

OK, it's about time that I learn something about rifles...
Long time IPSC shooter who is finally trying (and loving) 3-gun competition. Most of my google search questions kept referring me to this great, CO-based site. Good work guys!
I really appreciate the advice that Hoser, Zak, Eerw, and many others routinely post as it makes the learning curve so much easier.

AR setup: MSTN 18", std ACE stock, Benny Hill's rolling thunder comp, JP trigger, TA11, Jpoint on a burkett mount secondary, experimenting with lighter carrier (Progressive Machine). Other than tweaking/tuning, I need to get more long-range work in.

    Default Pueblo rifle

I promise I will show up, hopefully next month as that's exactly the course of fire that I need work on. It may be ugly but what the heck? I just need to get RogerRabbit to put a scope on one of his .223s. I doubt he'll want to use his .17 although it's one cool tool.

So I tried that high zoot Ti bolt carrier (& JP's Leitner-Wise bolt). Not enough energy on the return to strip rounds. So, I've got a Wolff Xtra power spring on order. I'll probably try that with JP's low mass buffer just to throw more variables into the mix. Always trying to squeeze a little more performance out. That's the problem with the Open Weenies...
    See you soon, Hoser.

I appreciate the warm welcome. I think the CO shooting community is one of the best that I've been associated with -- good folks well represented on this forum.
