I am in the planning stages of a couple of projects. First I want to build enclosed storage cabinets in the garage. Nothing fancy, 2x4 framing, plywood shelves, and painted plywood doors and sides. Each cabinet will be 8' tall, 4'wide, and 18" deep. 6 cabinets total. The idea is to make the garage look cleaner by hiding everything in cabinets.
The next project is a storage shed / chicken coop in the backyard. 6'x8' floor plan with siding and shingles to match the house.
Where is the best place to buy the wood I will need. I am assuming I can get better quality and price than the stuff I see at Home Depot and Lowes. Am I wrong?
