I get more offended not when people ignore the deaths of my brothers and sisters in combat, but when people use them to lambaste the celebrity obsession in America. I find it difficult to believe anyone not directly affected by a service members death actually pay attention, or much less shed a single tear. I get broken up whenever I hear about it, but can't honestly say I actually pay attention to every military death that happens. As a veteran, I appreciate the sentiment, but only if/when it's actually genuine. Otherwise, please, spare me the false anger. (Not directed at you Mtn Man, just in general, people who say things like that rarely ever really mean it).
