    I just saw the scene on a report on TV, the speed limit was 35, not 45... Even at 35 you can still screw up enough in a high performance car and be killed. It happened on Sheridan a few years ago, 37 MPH, driver killed (I know the Lakewood traffic investigator who investigated the accident).

    You can also be killed by falling in your bathtub....but you cannot, no matter how hard you try, do this to a car at 45mph:



    If if boiled down to those two fatally wrapping some carbon fiber around a telephone pole, or hurting a single bystander, I'm glad it went the way it did.
