For my carry Glock, I only stippled the backstrap and frontstrap areas because of this. Left the sides untouched since that would start ripping up shirts and trying to steal my kidneys.Originally Posted by nathan0259

When I was carrying at the 3 o'clock all the time, I noticed my sights would wear holes. Now that I carry at the 4-5, I don't notice anything. We shall see how the stipple treats my clothing.

I was chicken for quite some time. I've wanted to get a professional job done, but these days I'm too broke, so took the plunge myself lol.
Looks awesome Hurley, I did my Springfield this year with small x's and they sanded down some of the high points. My damned hands shake too much to so little dimples like you did. Keep us posted on how you like it bro.

Thanks, I will keep you posted, hopefully get to shoot it soon. I took a second look at my pics and realized the lighting wasn't too good in them. Here is one that should show more detail.

Looks like it turned out nicely. I'm fairly certain that if I tried that, I'd completely ruin an otherwise good pistol.
did you free hand the edge or did you mask it off with tape to give you a straight line?
