Off site parking is cheaper and less hassle.

I think it's generally the people parking Valet that are blowing up airports.

This news story seems to pop up every 6 months or so.

My wife and I give my brother in law $20 to take us both ways. I say that's a steal and we'll do it every time we fly as long as he'll keep driving us for that. If I do have to park at DIA, I always park offsite at one of the lots on Tower rd.

Wow... that would be a blatant violation of the 4th Amendment. If it happened to me, which I never use valet (can't trust them after watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off), I would be pushing a lawsuit against the TSA (which is a government entity) for ordering a third party (acting as an agent of the government in that capacity) to illegally search my vehicle. Then again, I'm not surprised by this happening at Rochester... NY citizens have been getting trained for years to tolerant of violations of their rights.

DIA has valet parking? Man, I feel like I'm crazy spending already when my job lets me park in the big boy garage instead of the surface lots.

What happens if the valet tells the TSA to stuff it? TSA doesn't employ the valet.
