Default Brandon Webb intends to run for an NRA board seat in 2015

I'm pretty confident most of us know who Webb is. Yesterday, he announced on FB that he will be running for a seat on the NRA board in 2015. Almost immediately, Webb's specific stances on 2A issues were called into question on social media. Webb attempted to respond to a few comments last night, and he followed up today in a post on SOFREP. The link is below. Personally, while I respect Webb's service and skills, I'm sure as hell not gonna give him, or anyone else, a blanket endorsement without knowing exactly where he stands. What do ya'll make of this?

    • Yes, owning a gun is a right, driving is also a right but you have to have pass a drivers test to prove competency

He certainly doesn't hold the same views that I do.

Anyone know many people are running for this seat? He seems to be running with, what the libtard media keeps says, 70% of NRA members believe in background checks. This might show if that stat is true.

hmmm... The Bill of Rights doesn't seem to mention Driving specifically, but it does specifically mention arms and the right to bear them as one that shall not be infringed. How some schmuck equates driving as a "right" is beyond me...Certainly not an inalienable right as is assigned to the right to bear arms.

He wasn't a gun owner prior to joining ST3

License to operate a Constitutional right

To be completely fair, I shot on my high school rifle team and joined the NRA long before I actually bought guns of my own. In fact, I was 34 before I bought a single one (but I've made up for lost time).
