Thought you seemed a little left coast-ish. Just kidding.
Best thing about the weather is the desert I call my yard might green up for a day or two because of the snow. Then back to desert. I don't waste water on lawn care. Let it die!

And just like that over half of the snow has already melted here in the Springs. They're expecting weather in the 40's tomorrow down here and I expect that most of the rest of the snow will be gone by the end of the day.

It was fun while it lasted. At least it got my wife out of work for 2 days.

LOL they closed things down because of roads and sheer volume of people! This population at doubled in 20 years and most of them came from a state that had no snow except in what they called "mountains". Kidding aside it is all about volume of people going home, that is why everybody shut down early. I never worry about myself driving in snow it is the other idiots around me that scare the crap out of me!

    Default I love it

It's flipping Colorado and it's still March, what's the problem?

Day off from work, chance to get caught up on news and chores. My only problem is that it's too flipping cold to go out in the garage to sort out my ammo :/

I swear, Colorado Springs is getting to be more and more like DC. Not just the attitudes of some of the new liberals in the area and the DC-type restaurants (Red Hot and Blue, Champps, etc.) but the way people freak out over a little precipitation or temperatures below 30 ...

I'm loving it, except....about 5 minutes ago my DirecTV reciever just came up with "Searching for satellite.." which means two things (1) I've gotta get dressed and go clean the snow out of the dish, and (2) I've got a buy a heating unit for my dish so I never have to go outside to clean the snow out of it again.

I figure that while I'm out there I might as well try to shovel the drifts off of my sidewalks too.
