FNG
I've been lurking for a while, but I finally set up an account. I've recently got off active duty Navy, and it's good to be back in my home state. I'm excited to get some beta on the best places to shoot in the Denver metro area, as well as what shops to visit.
Story: We had a new JO check-in one time, and he was given the "FNG" patch to wear around until he got his real name tag. Some of the clueless E-1's started calling him "Fing." For a few days, this burly 6'5" Jamaican guy had no idea why people thought he was Asian, until he connected that "Fing" was the phonetical equivalent of "FNG." Perhaps he wasn't the brightest guy around, but everyone was entertained by his confusion and, unfortunately for him, the name stuck with him for a few years.
Anyways, It's good to be here.
