It isn't even an apples to apples comparison when you look at how we define different things (infant mortality is a great example) vs. other countries.
They claim to be evidence-based, but then they don't hire any economists to offer in any opinions. The truth is, the United States subsidizes care for the rest of the world.
Who is developing new technologies, new techniques, and new drugs? A little bit in Europe, but mostly the US.
And are Americans racing to other countries for medical care at the same rate as foreigners doing medical tourism here? Of course not.
