Boy, little jumpy in Redding it seems. Though with the caption he put on the pic I'd get a bit worried too. The other pic they went after a kid over was way out of line.
Nothing like posting something with a Ready for school caption 4 days before the CT school shooting.
You might as well put a KAFIR'S ONLY sign up outside Mandela's Casket.

First kid... Was asking for it.
My life working is only preparation for my life as a hermit.

Did you read the article or just the headline? I don't think the police were out of line arresting that dumbass kid for posting a pic of 2 guns and captioning it "Ready to go to school." Some pellet guns look pretty real, especially in pic taken by a phone.
Yes I read the whole article.
We live in a hypersensitive time these days. I see nothing wrong with what he posted in the caption. I remember bringing bb guns to school and being "ready to go to school" with them. Even had them for show and tell a few times.
I would encourage every kid to post a picture of an AR-15 on their social networking accounts. We need to desensitize everyone from panicking every time they see one.

Why not? Aren't there lots of AR-15s/M16s in the movies these days?

Interesting that the Liberal media/Hollywood gets a pass on violent imagery but a kid doesn't, isn't it? I mean, it's not like they glorify mass murder and moral subjectivity or anything, right?
In other news, Obama's sons continue to post pics of illegal guns (prohibited persons) and drug operations on Facebook all day long and LE does jack squat.
So you are defining the limit of free speech to "poor taste?" There are many people who post stupid things on the Internet. Talking about violence is not the same as committing violence. Posting a pic of an AR on FB with the caption, "going to the movies" is not the same as showing up at the theater with a loaded rifle and pointing it at people.
Freedom involves risks.
