Monky, Saw in the other thread that you submitted an eform recently for your sbr. I just got a supressor from MGT in lakewood and they said they have never heard about filing online. I saw this thread and then all the posts on the link above (arf.com) Sure seems like there are a LOT of people getting their forms done via the online system.
. I am going to the bank tomorrow to get my checking account (for the trust ) set up and get the trust page notorized that needs to be. My question is,,,,, when I go to MGT with my notorized trust page and they have my form 4 filled out, can I transfer that info online at home on my computer, or do they need to do that online at the shop...(even though they say it can't be done)
have a login to the atfonline.gov site and have poked around and found the form that needs to be filled out. It requires info such as the ffl # and what looks like the entire form to be filled out. Mainly I am wondering if that info will be present on the form I get from MGT that traditionaly would be mailed in and I can enter the info from home instead of at MGT. With them not knowing about it, or have no experience with it I don't want to mess with their time.
This is my first NFA purchase and am learning as I go. Thanks so much for the info you or anyone else can provide.

The FFL has to register and file form 4's they can't be done by a individual.

The sbr efiled was done at an FFL. I should have been clear about that. I filed a paper F1 earlier in the year... Still hoping the efile comes back sooner

Thanks for the info guys. I got all excited about the efile deal when I read about it AFTER I did the purchase. As far as MGT goes, they were extremely helpful today with the process of getting the trust set up and also with the form 4 stuff. I went in to just look and they happened to have what I was interested in sitting in the display. I asked them about the process and they gave me all the info I needed. So much info that it I decided to go ahead and get the supressor right then. Hopefully my experience does not change.
I will mention to them that they can get set up on the efile system and if there is no interest, I will not push and will just go the traditional way.

colorider, who did your eform? my dealer has never done one but is willing to learn. He down loaded and reg with them but we couldn't get the website to work. Did you get your item faster then the normal way?

I have now had several e-forms submitted. They're still coming back in 90-100 days. I got my first efile back before my paper forms submitted 1/2yr earlier.

I got a couple at 110 days plus. Still faster than paper but they are taking longer now

Can you efile a form 1 now? Doing a second sbr here soon
