Between this thread and other forums seems at least half the people either have quality issues or customer service issues. Just googled "treadwright tire reviews"

Sure there are people that have good luck with them but luck is not something I want to bet on when it comes to tires. Hi-points are a bargain too I hear.

When I originally Looked into them, I had a hard time finding bad reviews. Perhaps the customer experiences have gone down over the years. Maybe they are getting a bit too big for their britches. I've only ever had one set of tires too, so not much of a sample set.

I believe it actually separated going over hoosier pass, truck was pulling a d vibrating on the back side of the pass, I would not have wanted to drive too far on it

I am guessing these are going on the Penz? My mom was a Greyhound bus driver for years (she retired with a full pension). She always told me that retreads are fine on the back, just rotate them between each other at normal intervals. She also said never put them up front, that is what gets you in trouble. Your Penz is heavy but not fast. The combination with heat and high speed is where I would guess the 'trouble" comes from my mom was talking to. You will probably be fine if you stay on top of the air pressure at highway speeds, low pressures being a cause of long term heat buildup. If you are airing down on the trails, I am very curious how well that works out.

(BTW: need to send you some pics. You would not recognize the 700. Bert does good work! Going to test it out tomorrow if I am lucky)

yeah, they're on the Pinzgauer. It's done a lot more "daily driving" than I expected, but it tops out at about 60-62 mph, so nothing crazy. I keep the pressure around 45psi on the road, and have aired down to 20 on a trail or two. I've had absolutely no problems with the tires, but will update the post if that changes.

Definitely, send some pics of that 700. Or post up in the Precision Rifles thread!

I started having trouble with mine. 15-20k miles on them. One went out of round, and another I cant balance for the life of me.

on a 4x4 you cant mix and match them, the treadwright's a physically larger than the same size new tire, the new B2B products are supposed to fine on all vehicles

    FYI, no contact from treadwright
