    Default ultrasonic cleaner?

Can anyone recommend a small machine just big enough to clean the baffles in a rimfire suppressor? I do not need/want a full-sized industrial machine but I'm getting a bit tired of the toothbrush/lead/solvent/fumes every time I clean the rimfire cans....which is fairly regularly.

Try Harbor Freight. I picked one up that's approximately 6"-7" long for the stainless tub. I think I paid $40 on sale. Upon further inspection, it looks like the same manufacturer of the Hornady and Lyman brand cleaners, just a helluva lot cheaper. I use a home brew cleaner with the heat on. It works. BTW, the Harbor Freight, Hornady and Lyman cleaners are all made in China.

Update: I ended up going with a machine not from harbor freight as I have read that getting the liquid as hot as possible is beneficial. I ran two suppressors through it last night and it does indeed get things clean but I am now a tad curious about the 2.5L of fluid that is in it....how do you ideally get rid of the 2.5L of lead-infested liquid?!

Let it evaporate and give the lead to those that cast their own bullets????

Run the H2O through a coffee filter, dump water and toss the filter. Wipe sc down with paper towel. I'd be more concerned about the airborne particulates from the cleaner, than the residue.

I use Crystal Simple Green on firearm parts, and also for cleaning scuba regulators. Seems to work on everything at high dilution ratios. I have the harbor freight one and it gets pretty hot.

I have not used an ultra sonic so please forgive the newb question. If the thing being cleaned is in solution why are you worried about breathing lead in? Got it for not drinking the stuff but how is it getting lead airborne?
