It seems to me that Phil already chose principle over payola. He said quite calmly that the TV show was eventually going to end and it didn't sound like he cared one whit. This is one case where the "stars" are about the only ones who don't seem to care about the cash -- and I admire them for it.

If you read the entirety of Phil's interview, he stated that he would treat gays no differently, and that it was up to god to judge them. He brought up how one thing leads to another, and another. All you have to do is pay attention to the world around you, and you will see it is happening. First the gays wanted to able to marry, they got it. Guess what that opened up? Polygamy. Not the worst thing out there to some men, but most women don't like that idea,lol. Now that homosexuality has been removed from the list of mental illnesses, and is publicly ok, there has been a push for pedophilia to become less taboo. It's not very public right now, but it will become more pronounced. Don't believe me? That's ok, just review your history lessons, and learn from them. 100 years ago, gay marriage was something unimaginable, my how things have changed. Islam promotes pedophilia, and they are pushing hard to make their beliefs the law here.
