A&E suspends Phil Robertson over his personal beliefs about homosexuals.

If you read what all Phil said, he stated his thoughts on the gay thing, but also said he does not judge them, for that's god's job. Here is what he said in GQ, to which the liberals and media are trying to avoid quoting.

As far as Phil is concerned, he was literally born again. Old Phil—the guy with the booze and the pills—died a long time ago, and New Phil sees no need to apologize for him: “We never, ever judge someone on who’s going to heaven, hell. That’s the Almighty’s job. We just love ’em, give ’em the good news about Jesus—whether they’re homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort ’em out later, you see what I’m saying?”

I'd like to know just how much A&E owns of it. Willie seems to be a pretty sharp businessman and marketer, I wouldn't be surprised if he has more control than A&E. He might just tell them to piss up a rope.

They buy shows, like anyone else. The Producer and talent, for most shows like this, make money per episode and then royalties for re-runs. The channels, like A&E, then sell the advertising to get their coin. Willie is sharp, and the last number I heard, per show, would buy a pretty nice house. Willie was careful with the brand, so some other channel could of course buy a new season.

Kind of interesting that this happens right after Chris Cheng (Top Shot) finally admits he is a homosexual.

I think we all kinda knew Cheng was a non-breeder. Even then, from his Wikipedia profile:

Irving, I was listening to Fox news on the drive over to my gf's tonight and Meghan Kelley addressed that point and said it was just a rumor; Phil never made that comparison.

They should go shooting then. They can always tell the "gay mafia" that learning to shoot is their right to self-defense against hate mongers. I'm not sympathetic to the homosexual agenda but I think they have the same right to self-defense that any other law-abiding American has.

Such a downward spiral this country is in. I'm sure if he was all for it they would say how great of a guy he is. I'm sure he is so heart broke that some are upset about standing by his faith and opinion. F-A&E.

I agree.
My first reaction, however, was to be thankful that my life, my personality, my whatever isn't structured and set up to be susceptible to that kind of unspoken peer pressure.
