The guy is a total d-bag. I worked at a fence company and he came in and told us that if we give him free fencing he would give us a good review. He wanted $10,000 worth of fencing, we told him to go pound sand.

I was in Best Buy getting a new TV and they asked if I wanted an extended warranty when I told them Tom says not worth the extra money. They proceeded to tell me Tom was just in that store the week before and bought a number of electronics including a TV and got the extended warranty on all of them, lost all credibility with me.

If you buy a name brand product like Panasonic or Sony the extended warranty is a waste of money. If you buy an Insignia or Vizio you better spend the extra $$ on the warranty. After 10 years in business I have yet to have to replace a single TV I have sold.. However I have replaced several TVs that clients insisted on buying themselves because they were cheaper than what I was selling and they didn't want to listen to what I was telling them.
