Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

Very easy on the eyes, but this lady has definitely earned my utmost respect.

Let's pray she stays safer than Pat Tillman.

Why has no one brought up humping her ruck?

FU. You weren't there and have no right to criticize those of us who were on the ground. Pat died doing what he loved: leading other Rangers against our enemies.

Because the team that's been carrying it is still doing the work for her. The units running with the embedded cultural advisers are not liking the extra work associated with them.

Easy there chief. Don't read too deep into my comments.

I was making no judgement as to the cause of Pat Tillman's death, or criticizing any of the fellow heroes who served with him. I only meant that he was a revered football celebrity (like this cheerleader) who chose to serve his nation and ultimately did not come home safely. I served for a career and continue to support the mission by my choice of employment. I understand that hostile environments seldom have outcomes that any of us desire. Things happen. Regardless of the outcomes, it is the very rare exception when anyone who steps up to put on the uniform is worthy of anything less than the utmost respect.

While I believe that Ranger Corporal Tillman should be remembered for his service, because he was a successful pro football linebacker many people will remember him mostly for that. It was because of his football legacy that there was such a hubbub over his death. The point of my offensive comment was that I hope that Lt. Washburn can come home safely and be remember not for her cheerleading career, but for her distinguished contributions to our nation as a soldier and leader.

2 other female cultural advisers with SOF units have been killed this year, the most recent on 06 Oct. I'm sure they had other promising careers as well.

Regarding Pat: that's a very touchy subject with those of us who called him a brother. As I said, he died doing what he loved and any of us would take his place.

I hadn't heard a thing about these ladies. Not surprising since the mainstream media has considered it almost distasteful to properly cover the passing of our real heroes. Much like the passing of Chris Kyle - too little coverage considering his contributions.

Of course. This goes without saying - for any Brother/Sister in Arms, not just the former celebrities.

There is another article that refers to her as a "special operations" officer - LOL. I am not sure why everyone wants to be called spec ops.

Good for her serving her country but the fact that she was a cheerleader doesn't make her service any better or more special than anyone else serving.
