    Default First! Time! Ever!

I finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. No "Which store is open latest on Christmas Eve?" panic.

    Merry Christmas, everyone.

    Me too.

Rarely in the past 20 years have I pushed anything to Christmas eve.

A few years, I did 100% of my shopping online, including the requisite jewelry.

I got mine done a little after the beginning of the month. I didn't even get up from my couch to do it either. Thank God for Amazon.

I stopped by today to grab a couple extra stocking stuffers. Would have done it earlier but working out of town stinks sometimes

Finished mine today. All I had to get (aside from a prime rib roast) is 2 packages of Lindor Truffles to put in my wife's Christmas stocking. We normally don't get each other anything, but she 'let' me buy a new toy last week & I got her a necklace as a sort of "in kind" gift. I'm putting some of the truffles in the bottom of the stocking, then the box with the necklace, and more truffles on top. She shouldn't expect anything more than the candy in the stocking. I hope she'll be pleasantly surprised.

Yep I finished two days ago for the first time ever I was done early. Felt kind of good to have it all done.

It worked! She saw the truffles and assumed that was all that was on the stocking. As she was emptying the stocking and found the box with the necklace she had a surprised look on her face and asked "What's this?" She almost cried when she opened it & saw the diamond necklace. Perfect!
