Default Don't forget to stock up on light bulbs!

Incandescent light bulb will be harder to get starting Jan 1... I personally phased out all of mine a while back, but I still need a couple of 40' for some antique light fixture where cfl and even led cannot "yet" replace the warm glow of incandescent lights.

I hate those CFL bulbs. "Hang on while my light charges up."

Yep me too. That's why I switched to LED a couple of years ago. Never going back.

Thanks for the reminder, I've got a supply of 100W for the basement fixture that eats CFL like candy (turn on washer or dryer and that circuit sags/overvoltages). Might want to snag some 60W as a backup supply before they vanish.

Dont forget exterior lights. The ballast in the cfl is not cold start rated and they burn out every winter.

LED bulbs. Phase them in as they burn out.

My daughter is going to be sad when her easy bake oven doesn't work anymore.

Bought enough of every watt to last me years during the 100W phase-out.

Interesting. I use them in my outside light. I don't seem to have that problem.
