While I don't think Polis is perfect, I think it is good to praise someone for doing something good. Polis just introduced a bill to restore 2nd Amendment rights to medical marijuana users. Regardless of the debate about drugs, I think it is good to lift restrictions on the rights to bare arms.

Colorado Representative Jared Polis introduced a bill last month that would reinstate the right of medicinal marijuana users to legally purchase and possess firearms, a right which has been expressly denied by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms for nearly two years.

Its a step in the right direction and a reflection of battles won. I don't think people should lose their rights for pot. But I also don't think people should lose their 2nd amendment rights for anything but a murder conviction. The gov gives out felonies for everything now and with it strips away the rights of millions forever.

Who gave the BATF the authority to deny RIGHTS in the first place? That is for legislative bodies to decide. BATF is out of bounds..... again.

My overall goal is to make 2nd Amendment rights a bi partisan issue. When that happens, then we won. Till then fight those who are against those and give praise when someone does the right thing. If 2nd Amendments rights stay as GOP thing alone then you are only one election away from losing them and the pendulum no matter how much you try will always go back and forth on those two crappy parties.
