i refuse to go into walmarts. trashy as hell and hardly anyone is ever around to help you find anything. i went to get ammo once and waited 40 minutes and 4 calls for assistance before the guy came, and when he did he didn't even speak a single word to me the entire time. sometimes spending a little more is worth it.

target is much cleaner, the people are much nicer, you can actually find people to help you and their produce isn't already brown. HOWEVER, i get all my fresh groceries at sprouts (surprsingly cheap, i always figured it was expensive but its not on the fresh stuff) so like my veggies, fruits, meats. then i get all my boxed stuff at target. all major retailers support shipping jobs overseas and making things cheaply, but walmart sets the standard and it shows in their stores. its all about making everything as cheaply as possible. no thanks. i have found with the target cartwheel app you can easily save the difference between walmart and target, especially on things like wood furniture and big ticket items where they are often 15-20% of on cartwheel.

if you are all about getting everything as absolutely cheap as you can, then yes, walmart is your best option and it is widely known. i prefer to pay a bit more for a bit better quality and service. so i basically shop around between target and safeway.

I avoid target like the plague. The bulk of company funding goes towards progressive ideology (Walmart is marginally better, but better) but there pricing "deals" are a total rip.

Example; You'll find and an 8 pack of something on special for 9.99 and right next to it is a 4 pack for 3.99 normal price. It's like clockwork and people are so dumb they just pick up the 8 pack and assume is a good deal. place drives me crazy.

I feel dirty coming out of Walmart but I don't go often.
Progressive ideology, ideas so good they must be mandatory.

Because they're Clean. Because they're bright and organized and tidy and Clean, and arn't Little Tijuana or Little Somalia.
Best time to visit a Walmart and a Target in my experience is when it's time to buy school supplies for the kids. One is tidy and clean and one resembles what I imagine Haiti to look like.
Walmart for ammo, dogfood and car oil, and that's it.

Also a target red card gives you 5 percent off and you can just make it debit so no credit charges if you are really that worried about a small amount of savings. I would think gun folks would understand low price isn't everything.

Pretty much my thought. I go into best buy because I have a friend who works there. I get HDMI cables for like 5 bucks.

Sprouts has a no firearms allowed sign posted so I won't patronize them.

Wrangler jeans at Target because I am on the large side and I can be assured of finding my size when I need new pants every couple of years. Pet food, paper goods, canned food, basic vehicle maintenance needs and bananas at Walmart. Most food and produce from King Soopers. Also, with the soopers card I get fuel points and I am able to buy gas at a cheaper price than anywhere else.

For my money, Target has many more trashy customers because it has a higher percentage of Obama/Dem voters in its customer base. Contrary to public myth, there's not much difference in the products offered between Target and Walmart; I refuse to go in Target because the owner is heavily pro-Dem.
