Its a step in the right direction and a reflection of battles won. I don't think people should lose their rights for pot. But I also don't think people should lose their 2nd amendment rights for anything but a murder conviction. The gov gives out felonies for everything now and with it strips away the rights of millions forever.

I have sent emails to my representatives in DC to support this legislation because it makes sense. Because of the "rule" that keeps medical pot users from exercising their constitutional rights my wife is denied the ability to legally defend herself, even at home. Rapists, drug addicts, violent offenders, drunks, Obama supporters, etc etc should not be near guns. Children who have been drugged for years should also not be near guns. Every time they fuck up its us who pay for it. Why blame the drugs, alcohol etc?
