It is ridiculous. Hey, you don't like pot, well good for you. I don't care to use it either. However, it is effective in helping my wife to have some quality of life and not be strung out on man made and extremely costly narcotics. I've seen her on the prescribed drugs for pain and her other symptoms, she can't function on them. With a few hits on a joint each day she is able to do things like cook, take a shower and help me with the shopping, all manner of activities and stuff I imagine some of you would take for granted. For her it is not about getting stoned, it is for relief of pain and quality of life. And believe it or not, pot costs me less than the med's that she no longer has to take EVERY DAY.

I hope and pray that you all never have to cope with what she copes with every hour of the day. This is a good piece of legislation and I support it.

Folks like you are the problem with the way MMJ has been treated. There IS A real need for it your wife is an example. The problem is that MMJ is a fucking joke 2/3r's of the potheads I know have a " red card" and all of them are for bullshit reasons.

If it had been used correctly by doctors few here would not agree with this law.

I'm a toss up on it. Should medications be a reason to restrict gun rights? I mean look at all these mass shooters they all seem to be on some sort of pills. Should gun rights be taken away from them ? Aurora may not have happened if it were like that .. same with Arapahoe High if my understanding is right... but then you get in to the whole privacy issue.. and the fact many take those same pills and never hurt anyone...

just food for thought.
