No gun pics, sorry. Powder and .22 ammo still have large backorders. More AR sh*t then you could imagine. I was underwhelmed. Maybe it was me.

https://www.facebook.com/permalink.p...95735763781812 A few photos of the top three products.

Done with SHOT! There are some new things that are cool. The top three for me... The DPMS G2 is an engineering masterpiece. So many little improvements and a few leaps. A 7+ pounds AR platform rifle that shoots the .308 Win. 2nd, the modular suppressor from H&K is another engineering masterpiece, and the new one coming out in a few months...even better. 3rd, the overall success was better. Most manufacturers said they had the best show in years.

Honorable mentions, the Burris XTR2 line up is very impressive. Excellent glass, reticles done right and great strength. The new Remington R51 is really cool and of course, the 3G Versa-Max.

The knock-off artists from Asia were busy snapping photos, there were lots of ARs, lots of re-branded stuff. .22 ammo sources are opening up and powder/primer bullets are close to shaking free, so don't panic. Except for the few above, nothing really novel. About 67K people and over 17 million tons of freight. Forklifts with crates full of guns were under the watchful eyes of LEOs.

Okay, Here are some pics a good friend of mine sent. I blocked out his face because he is a forum member here and I'm not going to bother him this late to find out if he cares to have his face plastered all over this thread. Regardless, these are some great pics.

***Okay, I know in some of the pics you can see the name on the ID. I'm comfortable to say Randy won't punch me in the junk for that. Again, I just wasn't sure about his face being shown on the pics. Thank you all for letting me know though!

Here he is with Dick Marcinko

    FDE - H&K MP-7

New H&K with keymod hand guards & a suppressor

    ZEV Glock

    ZEV Glock

    ZEV Glock

New Kel Tec (He said it has an old school look, but feels like shit)

Rocket Launcher (Looks like a new version of the L.A.W.)

    Czech Scorpion

New Sig subgun. Looks like an MP-5 (He said the cheek weld on it sucks)

His son with a B.A.M.F. gun

That Kel-Tec looks great. I really want one. They found out about a great new material to work with..... its called 'wood'. Who would have thought about that one. Here is some more info on it:

    .

Yeah, I've never been too into the whole "exotic gun" market (i.e. Tavor, Kel Tec RFB, FS 2000, PS-90, etc). I guess for those of you who are, these are right up your alley. Randy and I talked a bit about that and the conclusion we came up with is just get yourself a quality AR, kit it out around what you'll be using it for and run it. Everything else just seems to be an solution in search of a problem. Again, I have no stake in the game so whatever floats yer boat, I'm happy for you. I just prefer to keep it simple.

Glad you mentioned that. Because there is a reason for that. SHOT is not the back-woods, inbred, fucktard gun show. People at SHOT know to point the guns at the ground or at an inanimate opject close to the muzzle where it won't end up getting stuffed in someone's facehole. There are A LOT of weapon systems and people like to check the feel of the triggers on them.

So yes, I second what JM Ver 2.0 said.

Everyone take a screen shot of this shit. Someone actually agrees with me.

Watch out. The second coming of Christ is upon us.

It's was 1:54, he was drunk, passed out shortly after, you were driving home from a kittehs-r-us convention that ran late, broke into his house, typed that out and now expect us to believe you? Come on...I know the truth!
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.
