Up here the citizens stormed the castle and voted it out of town, after med mj was ok'd. The town said the 3 (yes 3) lic shops were generating $75K per quarter. Denver will probably see $1 - 2mil the first 1/4 of 2014.
Thanks for putting it in perspective. I had no idea how much one smoked at once. Heck, I was under the mindset that the 1/4 Oz was essentially one joint. Shows how much I don't use! lol

Yes that, but try get a ccw permit in Hawaii. To transfer a firearm I basically got what someone here gets for ccw. Picture, prints, waiting period.

I'm sort of excited to see how this new pot legislation works.

Well the only positive thing I can see is this will lead to national legalization within half a decade. Once the dike starts to break, its hard to hold back. Esp on such an asinine issue as prohibition. It has been a black stain on the conservative movement that they ever supported big government federal prohibition of pot. So the more we settle these dumb issues, the better.

Now hopefully we can get that law passed that allows pot users to buy guns and then start bringing some "never ever fired a gun" to the range to get them hooked.

Yeah sure, and watch the number of NDs And "accidental shootings" skyrocket, then we get more sensible gun laws to protect the stoners from themselves and we all suffer from them.

That's essentially the same as assuming everyone at the range is also drunk because the drinking age and the FFL firearm purchase age is the same.
