It's not so scary if you don't take any cash and you have nothing honest Hamid wants in trade

Next time I go I will have about 3 gallons of 5.56 brass to process. I just need to figure out a day when I can skip out on work.

He makes a valid point about the prison industrial complex and the crony capitalist practices that help facilitate it. Maybe not on the right thread though.

So that means that people like Bernie Madoff should not be punished for stealing so many people's money? Thats a non-violent crime. How about I steal your car while you sleep? Thats not a violent crime.

I don't like people who are here illegally. I think it is wrong. But we have a situation where one side will never hold the employers accountable that hire these people and another side that wants to legalize them. Its a no win either way. Whoooo hoooo freedome of the two party dictatorshit.

Just so we're all on the same page....

    I strongly oppose private prisons.

I was trying to be short and in no way meant to include white collar crime. I do think that ruining peoples lives for small things is hurting our society by creating more crime in the future. I believe that people deserve the right and the ability to reform and lead a good life in the future after serving time. That includes voting rights too and very much so the ability to find a job that keeps them from committing more crime to survive. The current situation is making things worse and costing us more tax dollars than necessary. Sadly, the real criminals like Madoff don't go to jail like normal citizens. We live in a country where wealth has created a two tier system of justice. The founding fathers would not approve of the modern versions of kings and aristocracy being above the law.
